Protocol Pump Player (PPP) mentality

This concept is based on Kyle Chasse's article on PPP concept which intern is inspired by Meow community.

Why PPP Matters?

CommentPPP is crucial for the long-term health of the crypto space. Without it, we risk devouring each other before achieving any meaningful change. The current incentives strongly favor PVP behavior, leading to mainstream success via meme coins but also fostering negative perceptions. We need innovative PPP mechanisms to offer better alternatives and steer the industry away from cynical PVP practices.

The Normalizing of PVP

CommentPVP behaviors have become alarmingly normalized. Practices like giving investors terms to instadump on the community, promoting tokens with the intention of quick exits, and sniping supply pre-announcement have become standard. This normalization of PVP practices threatens the integrity of the crypto space and fuels skepticism.Comment

Introducing Protocol Pump Player

Comment to overcome these fundamental challenges, I propose evolving PVP into PPP (Protocol Pump Player)

1. Develop protocols that automatically reinvest a portion of the revenue (profit) generated back into buying/burning the native token. This guarantees continuous support and appreciation of the token’s value. A dashboard showcasing the state of the economy will show perspective participants the protocols past, current and anticipated future revenues and how this affects the token mechanics, such as buy pressure, burning, adding to LP etc.

2. Revenue Guarantees: Implement smart contracts that transparently and verifiably ensure that a certain percentage of the protocol’s revenue is used to buy/burn tokens. This creates a self-sustaining cycle where the protocol itself supports the token’s value, reducing the risk of pump-and-dump schemes.

3. Assurance Over Trust: By embedding these mechanisms directly into the protocol, we eliminate the need for trust in individuals. The community can have confidence that the protocol will act in their best interests, fostering a more secure and aligned environment

Creating a Real PPP Environment

Through Protocol Pump Player, we can cultivate an authentic PPP environment where the protocol itself, rather than human intentions, secures the success of each participant. This method resonates with the blockchain philosophy of 'Don’t trust, verify,' and contributes to the formation of more sustainable and resilient crypto communities.
